Route description

Starting in Adliswil, the route quickly leaves the urban edge behind, winding through woodland, quiet paths and open countryside as it heads south towards Zug. Along the way, expect long stretches through the Sihl landscape and forest and, from halfway onwards, wide, expansive views towards the Alps.

At around the halfway point, we'll stop at a farm for snacks and refreshments, where on a clear day, you may even catch sight of the north face of the Eiger. The walk then continues through the last village in Canton Zürich before entering woodland, gradually making its way towards Baar and the Zugersee, with the final stretch hugging the lake before finishing together at Freiruum.

Getting there

Public transport or ride-share recommended. Parking near the start can be limited. Check individual route maps for details.

After the walk

Lunch is available at the finish venue after the walk. It's not included in your ticket, but it's a good reason to stick around.

Family and supporters are welcome to meet you at the finish line and join the celebrations. You don't need to complete the full distance. The point is showing up.

Can't finish? That's fine. Let a volunteer know and exit the course at any point.

What to bring

At least 1L of water: a small backpack or camel pack works well
